  • Micah 7

18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

     Thank you !

  • Interesting how in light of all the minor prophets doom and gloom message, there’s still a message of God reconciliation and mercy…

  • Barry, you found it. That fact from the Old Testament is what makes life worth the living. Now that we have Jesus, we have the assurance that our sins are forgiven us.  With Jesus in our hearts, we turn to Him for the strength necessary to keep us from being slave to those former transgressions.  In that forgiveness that we find in Jesus, using His power to be strong enough to avoid sin, we have freedom from the Law, in that we have become righteous, feeling the need to remain clean and holy. We look to the Lord Jesus for His infilling of Love. We relax in our own walk in life, and with smiling faces, trust in God, that we do not sin again.  Halleluiah. …Love, Sande
