• There is a better way to fix something that is broke than to Tax big and spend even bigger!

  In a meeting of health providers called together by the state Gov. the providers were given a 3 hour talk about about the state program and about our changing field of health and dental care. At the end of the talk I asked the person over the program for our state ” what % of the tax money spent goes to pay those who provide health and dental care to the patient ?” He told us ” less than 20% is spent to provide care and the rest to operate the program” . Insurance providers charge much less as per your stats!

  A much better and less costly plan to make sure every person is covered by health insurance would be to offer employers both a tax credit of 50% on the cost of each workers health insurance then a regular write off the cost for the other half the cost. Next for people who buy it on their own give them a 80% tax credit with those who make to little to pay taxes would get money back from the Federal Gov. depending on the income when they have proof of insurance much like we have to have proof of insurance before we get our tags for our cars.

  In doing this we use the IRS which is in operation to be the ones to see people have insurance and we do not set up another massive leach on the people of this country do drain our money and our rights from us while providing inferior heath care!

  While the Gov. gets involved in insurance — They should pass a regulation stating insurance companies. no longer can call something a family policy. Why ? to do away words that are unfair to people that have neo-familes . The insurance co. should word policy that covers multiple people just that . If the person buys a policy they should add anyone they can come up with the cash to pay for even if it is your mother, friend, or just someone you live with. This would also help the people living with a gay partner and keep everyone’s nose out of everyone’s personal lives and yet provide health care to more people.
