  • In the face of hard times remember these words !

    Lamentations 3

15 He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

16 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.

17 And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.

18 And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:

19 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Trust on the Lord and He will led you through the valley as you follow .

    Always in His hope ,

    Barry

  • And to think of the context of these verses! What hope is ours but ultimately the salvation of the LORD!
Wow, that’s a nice lawn mower too!
How are things? Sorry I’ve been so busy away from xanga!

  • Just read your comment on my site, Got to the point where I didn’t think anyone even looked at it, I have been looking for christian friends on line to converse with and to learn from each other. What are your beliefs? Will look forward to hearing from you again. Tim

  • I briefed over more of the articles you wrote and they are pretty good, we also subscribe to answers in Genesis and have visited the museum in Kentucky, and we were blessed to be able to meet with Gary Parker at his museum in Florida. He spent about a good five hours speaking with my son who turned away from christianity to atheism. His site is the one that was just above your comment on my site. We meet with some brothers and sisters in a small church by the Danville ,PA area. We have the Lords supper for our worship service and study the scriptures after worship is over. My wife and I are trying to finish a christian bookstore in the Susquehanna,P.A. area, and would like to have a small library with high-speed internet access, with a movie night, and a small coffee shop to help pay the bills. We would like to be able to cater to a lot of the home-school kids, and groups that are serious about digging into God’s word, and maybe one day have a meeting[church] in this area that follows what we believe the scripture teaches. Well God bless and I’ll talk to you later. Tim
