No White House ceremony to be held on National Day of Prayer for the 1st time in 9 years !
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says President Barack Obama will pray privately as he does every day . Our Presidents only public acknowledgement will be to issue a White House proclamation.
Pray for a more publicly active godly leadership from the President even at the risk of making those who hate Jesus angry. Pray for all leaders in public service and for Holy Spirit to guide them in all that is done, planned, and said and be sure to make a double effort on observed on the first Thursday in May to fill the void left by the White House.

It is good to meet with other belivers to support each other and worship the God of creation in Spirit and truth . Just to support the importance of prayer is not the same as showing up to be seen . If our President shows his support I would not call him a hypocrite nor would Jesus who knows the heart of all men (people) . Would you have called him a name like that if he publicly encouraged all people of faiths to please pray for their nation , for the leaders of the world and for people to take care of this world since it all we have for now ?

But rather than aknowledging you were wrong, you censored… jesus.
Why censor scripture? Doesn’t that strike you as blasphemous? I posted a quote from jesus himself, and you deleted it and insisted you were right.

@agnophilo - I do not know what is going on either it says I have 5 comments but I just see three . I would ask you to know the facts before the negative words . I have not deleted anything .

I think xanga was just doing maintenance when we posted and it went screwy.
I apologize. You did not deserve my criticisms. I just talk to a lot of christians who are like that, so when my comment didn’t show up and yours did I assumed you were just another one.
@agnophilo - What you think is important since you are important to Him who came to die so you may have true and abundant life . I also find myself caught up into the moment at times and fail to trust on His wisdom and react from my old carnal mind . In my failure I may be quick to offend someone and my Lord also , He is quick to forgive and teach from my failure but those who suffer at my failure are another thing enen if they forgive me they still are hurt and that is a pain I share with them . The people around me lost little with the death of the old me and I gained much with the freedom that came with the new birth in Jesus . Now He works in and through me each day to change me more into His spiritual image and I thank Him for that and hope He can work through me to reach out to the world I came from . I find so many who though with out Christ are much more moral people than I was with out Him and as I get older and learn more and more I find how little I know when compared to 34 years ago when I knew everything and no one could tell me anything that I could not pick apart to show them how smart I was . Please forgive my wondering thoughts . I glad you know I did not delete you !

@Barrygw – Just so you know I’m not christian. I just know the bible better than most who are. I like obama because he’s a better sort of christian than most politicians who just wave christianity around to get popular support. Obama actually walks the walk. I didn’t think I’d ever see a president who did.
